 La venta de boletos será a mediados de este mes a costos muy accesibles. Aquí les tenemos unas palabras de la banda dando a conocer los motivos y razones del costo del evento. "Al principio queríamos hacer algo íntimo, en un lugar pequeño y controlable en cuestiones de grabación, un concierto exclusivo para verdaderos fans del grupo.... nunca encontramos un lugar idóneo y desechamos la idea. Después nos entusiasmó hacer algo totalmente opuesto, un concierto masivo con acceso libre para todo el que quisiera estar presente. Durante meses nos aferramos a la idea de hacer el evento masivo y gratuito, esto se trataba de una celebración y cuando uno celebra suele tirar la casa por la ventana... la cruda realidad de los números impedía lograr llevar a cabo una producción ambiciosa de esta manera, era incosteable el proyecto y se tuvo que replantear. Dimos más vueltas con la idea y finalmente llegamos a la conclusión de hacer algo ni tan íntimo, ni tan masivo, ni gratuito, ni caro, algo accesible y especial; nos gustó más la idea de realizar un concierto en un lugar donde pudieramos instalar un escenario especial y una producción de primer nivel, donde se cobrara la entrada a precios razonables de manera general y al mismo tiempo que nos permitiera regalar bastantes entradas. Se requería de un lugar donde se pudiera aforar la capacidad del lugar y donde se pudiera adaptar el espacio de manera práctica para que el equipo de producción encargado de documentar el concierto pudiera trabajar cómodamente sin interferir con el público, con el escenario o con el grupo. El único lugar que cumplió con todas las necesidades e implicaciones del proyecto fue el Palacio de los Deportes de la Ciudad de México. Otro proceso largo fue encontrar una fecha idónea para llevar a cabo el concierto. La primera fecha que se propuso fue en Mayo, obviamente no se pudo cumplir con esto. Después comenzamos a programar todo para Agosto, una vez más la fecha se acercaba y los detalles no se solucionaban. Más tarde, decidimos programar el concierto en Octubre, por motivos externos tuvimos que mover la fecha una vez más, pero en esta ocasión se decidió adelantarla para Septiembre y no posponer más el proyecto. Increíblemente, por cuestiones ajenas a nuestro control, tuvimos que mover todo otra vez y posponer el concierto para finales de Noviembre. La fecha del concierto es el miércoles 28 de Noviembre en el Palacio de los Deportes de la Ciudad de México. Los boletos salen a la venta a mediados de Septiembre a travéz del sistema Ticketmaster, el costo de los mismos va a ser lo más accesible posible. El cupo es limitado, el Palacio va a estar aforado a una capacidad menor a la normal y va a estar acondicionado de una manera diferente a la normal. Este concierto es un evento y una celebración, no es un show más de Zoé en el DF, es un concierto especial que se va a grabar y se va a poder revivir cada vez que se quiera, es único. La INVITACIÓN es la siguiente: La cantidad de mensajes que recibimos por parte de todos ustedes es simplemente abrumadora, sería imposible contestarles personalmente a todos e injusto contestarle solamente a unos cuantos. Lo que sí hacemos es leer todos los mensajes periódicamente para enterarnos de las inquietudes, comentarios, críticas, reclamos, felicitaciones, solicitudes y, afortunadamente en su mayoría, buenos deseos que nos envían. Es una practica común ver qué escriben después de un concierto o después de algún evento que seguramente va a detonar comentarios. En muchos de estos mensajes surgen las peticiones para que toquemos ciertas canciones que en esos momentos no estamos tocando en vivo, canciones que alguna vez se han tocado y se dejaron de tocar o incluso canciones que nunca se han tocado en vivo. Debido a esto, queremos invitarlos a que nos envíen la lista de canciones que les gustaría que se tocaran en este concierto especial. Vamos a preparar muchas canciones para este concierto y todas las canciones dentro del catálogo de Zoé son válidas para entrar en la lista. En la página oficial del grupo www.zoetheband.com hay un banner en donde se puede accesar a la interfase que les va a permitir votar por las canciones que les gustaría escuchar en vivo el día del concierto... o por las canciones que les gustaría escuchar grabadas en vivo. Estamos muy contentos y motivados. Invitamos a Phil Vinall a participar en este proyecto. Vino de Londres especialmente hace un par de semanas y va a estar un mes en México para darle un extra a la dirección musical de los ensayos del grupo y para aportar su experiencia, visión, buen gusto y sentido del humor. Por las mañanas toma clases de español y por las tardes viene a los ensayos de Zoé, todo un personaje. Estamos experimentando en los ensayos cosas diferentes y nuevas para nosotros que seguramente van a servir de semilla para el nuevo material que ya estamos ansiosos de montar. Gracias a todos por el apoyo durante el último año que sin duda ha sido hasta ahora el mejor en la carrera de Zoé. Con este evento especial, queremos simbólicamente terminar la etapa del Memo Rex para comenzar una nueva etapa que esperemos nos traiga nuevas y buenas cosas a todos.
