El grupo de rock alternativo Zoé quedó inmortalizado en el Paseo de las Lunas de esta ciudad, al develar su placa que hace constar el premio que recibió en la quinta edición de las Lunas del Auditorio, en la que ganó como Mejor Grupo Revelación de 2006. Los casi 100 fans que asistieron a la ceremonia hicieron sentir su apoyo a la banda mexicana, que en todo momento accedió a dar autógrafos y posar para la fotografía del recuerdo. León (voz y guitarra), Sergio (guitarra), Ángel (bajo), Jesús (teclado) y Rodrigo (batería) se mostraron entusiasmados por la distinción. Ángel mencionó que afortunadamente se han presentado con mucho éxito en el "Coloso de Reforma", donde "es un privilegio tocar". Añadió que gracias a que los tiempos han cambiado, el rock tiene mayor difusión en este país. "La escena, la cultura, los medios y todo se debe a que se está haciendo buena música, siempre se ha hecho, pero ahora hay más apoyo". Agregó que Zoé está muy comprometido con su arte y la música, y una forma de colaborar para que el rock mexicano perdure es produciendo buenos discos y espectáculos. "Cuando ya no lo hagamos será el momento de retirarnos". Por otra parte, Sergio mencionó que el video de su tercer sencillo "Paula" pronto comenzará a rotar en los principales canales de música. Asimismo, indicó que la nueva edición de Memo rex commander y el corazón atómico de la vía láctea, la cual salió a la venta hace un mes, ha tenido buena aceptación por parte del público. Este material contiene un tema inédito, "Everything goes away" y un video que refleja lo que vivieron en el estudio de grabación y durante la realización en general de su más reciente producción. "Los fans podrán ver cómo fue la vibra de la grabación de Memo rex", expresó León. Añadió que entre sus planes está el compartir escenario con Babasónicos, ya que en junio realizarán tres presentaciones en el teatro Metropólitan; mientras que en agosto festejarán los primeros 10 años de haberse conocido con un concierto gratuito en el Palacio de los Deportes. León detalló que además pretenden grabar un DVD para lanzarlo a la venta a fines de este año, pero hasta el momento ignora si habrá invitados especiales o sólo lo harán ellos, ya que formará parte del festejo por los años que tienen de conocerse simplemente, ya que Zoé inició en 2001. "La intención también es de que el DVD se grabe en vivo y contenga un documental en el cual se dé a conocer toda la historia de la banda. Por el momento ese es nuestro proyecto más cercano, ya que nuestro nuevo disco se tiene planeado para 2008", puntualizó. Fuente: esmas.com |
